Hudson’s Bay Company / Saks

Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC) relocated to Manhattan’s financial district to assemble all of its holdings—including Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor—under one roof.

EGG Office created branded interior graphics throughout the eight-floor, 400,000-square-foot project, connecting the fashion-conscious workforce with the company’s vision and core values.

To maintain each brand’s identity while communicating a cohesive look and feel, a classic tone-on-tone palette was utilized throughout. Celebrating both the storied retail history with contemporary fashion photography, EGG created rich photomontages that are showcased prominently at the arrival point of each floor.

We also took a unique approach to displaying HBC’s mission statement on each floor, creating a dimensional, typographic mural and designing eight distinct textile pattern-inspired graphics, where HBC core values language makes up each pattern.

Integrating seamlessly with the interior architecture, the high-impact graphics and signage evoke polished fashion and timeless style.
